Polka Dot Design studio was commissioned by “Megaron, The Athens Concert Hall” in Greece to design the visual communication of the building. The illustrations were used in the video presentation of the program and decorated the new Mshop. The concept was to capture the traditional values of Greece in an innovative design. The goal was to provoke the viewer to understand the role of entertainment Hall through bold and optimistic design forms.
“Polkadot Design” has been repeatedly distincted at the European Design Awards, at the Greek Graphic Design & Illustration Awards (obtained the Golden Prize 2012 in Illustration), has been nominated for the ‘German Design Award’ and has been published in various design magazines such as the German ‘NOVUM’ world of graphic design and ‘Gallery’ the world’s best graphics.
