This is a series of illustrations, created by Charis Tsevis, with the wonderful people of Yahoo!, and their advertising campaign for the 2012 Olympic Games. “The Once-In-A-Lifetime moments that happen every four years.” This is how Yahoo! describe the experience of the Olympics in their current advertising campaign, and Charis couldn’t agree more.
He remembers himself as a kid, watching the Olympiads. Moments full of emotions, people who stand higher than all of us, colorful pieces of a united world. Charis describes his experience as “simple and beautiful. A very good partnership with a company that dreamed to work, since it is a myth of the Internet”. He also recalls discovering Yahoo! since cyberspace is a great interest of his. Pages full of excitement, people and groups for all his interests, links to a colorful world…
Charis amazing work was inspired by Gestalt, Futurism, Greek modernism and African primitivism. Enjoy your game!
